The countdown to Detty December 2025 has begun, and Lagos is about to raise the bar once again as the Nigeria Beer Festival returns in grand partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture. This year’s edition, officially part of the state’s flagship December calendar, is set to be bigger, bolder, and more exhilarating, bringing together fun seekers, beer lovers, foodies, and culture enthusiasts for an unforgettable experience.

More than just a celebration of beer, the festival is a vibrant showcase of Nigeria’s brewing heritage, culinary creativity, and cultural pride. From craft and commercial brewers to live Afrobeat rhythms and food vendors serving mouthwatering delicacies, the festival will transform Lagos into a hub of fun, flavor, and community spirit.

Akinola Oluwaleimu, Festival Coordinator, described the experience as “a celebration of all things beer, a melting pot of culture, creativity, and community.” He revealed that beyond the tastings and parties, guests will enjoy interactive beer sessions, cultural showcases, and conversations with master brewers and innovators. According to him: “It’s not just about drinking beer, it’s about discovering the stories, the craftsmanship, and the cultural value behind every brew. It’s also about building a community of responsible beer lovers who truly appreciate Nigeria’s brewing traditions.”

On the government side, Idris Aregbe, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, reaffirmed Lagos’s commitment to sustaining the festival as a tourism and cultural powerhouse. He noted: “The Nigeria Beer Festival aligns perfectly with our Detty December vision of promoting tourism, culture, and economic growth. Last year, we attracted over 1.2 million fun seekers, and this year we are poised to deliver an even bigger impact.”

With the festival expected to drive tourism, hospitality, and small businesses, its return is a win not just for entertainment but for Lagos’s economy. From clinking glasses to dancing under the Lagos skyline, guests will experience the very best of brewing excellence and Afrobeat vibes in Africa’s entertainment capital.

Whether you’re a beer connoisseur, a foodie, a music lover, or simply seeking a vibrant way to kick off the holidays, the Nigeria Beer Festival 2025 promises to deliver a Detty December to remember.
