The Corps Marshal of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mallam Shehu Mohammed, today joined the global community in commemorating the 2026 United Nations World Bicycle Day with a symbolic bicycle ride themed “Boosting Urban Life with the Bicycle.”

The Corps Marshal was represented by Deputy Corps Marshal (DCM) Clement Oladele. He reaffirmed FRSC’s commitment to always promoting safe, healthy and sustainable transportation.

The Special Guest of Honour, Hon. Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike, represented the President of the Court of Appeal, Hon. Justice Monica B. Dongban-Mensem, CFR, JP, at the event.

 

The celebration highlighted the bicycle as a safe, affordable and environmentally friendly means of urban mobility.
